Connect
Connect is a private messenger built for two people rather than a crowd.
Alongside ordinary conversation, it offers shared photo tasks: both people answer the same prompt, the answers open together, and the pair keeps a timeline of those moments. The conversation is the product; the tasks exist to help it along.
Status
The app is in closed beta and is distributed directly to invited testers as an Android build. It is not on any app store and is not open for public sign-up.
Email we send
We send exactly one kind of email, and only when you ask for it:
- Verification codes — a numeric code to confirm your address when you register or sign in.
No newsletters, no marketing, no promotional mail, and no selling or sharing of addresses. A code is only ever sent to an address that was just entered on the sign-in screen, and it expires within minutes.
Privacy
Conversations are private to the two people in them. We store the account data needed to run the service — your email address, profile and messages — and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers. You can delete your account from inside the app; that removes your personal data and anonymises what must remain so the other person's conversation stays intact.
